Christine Sheets, IIDA joined Pugsley. Simpson. Coulter. Architects in 2005. As a certified Interior Designer, Sheets has been instrumental in the successful completion of various pro¬jects including the Career & Technical Academies and the first LEED-NC certified laundry facility in the nation, Boyd Gaming Linen & Uniform Service. Her award winning interior designs and her philosophy toward sustainable practices have contributed to the firm’s ability to pro¬vide comprehensive architectural and interior design services for its clients. Originally from Pennsylvania, Sheets relocated to Las Vegas in 2005 soon after finishing her studies in Ohio. While attend¬ing The Ohio State University, Sheets explored the many aspects of spatial and programmatic relationships, user experience, innovative use of materials, and efficient space programming among various other topics. In 2004, she participated in a Study Abroad program in Wiesbaden, Germany, which gave her a strong basis in understanding international cultures and lifestyles. Sheets is NCIDQ certified, registered with the Nevada State Board of Architecture, Interior Design, and Residential Design, and a member of the International Interior Design Association. She enjoys participating in community activities and charitable events such as Kendall Tenney’s Make a Wish Foundation 5K Run, AIA Las Vegas CANstruction, as a volunteer for local food bank Three Square, and weekly commitments to the Big Brother Big Sisters program and the Henderson Animal Care & Control Facility. Sheets attended The Ohio State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Design.
