Michael Crandall serves as director of business affairs. In this capacity, Crandall oversees advertising, marketing and branding of the companies extensive business portfolio which includes Siegel Suites; Gold Spike Hotel & Casino; Oasis at Gold Spike; The Resort on Mount Charleston; The Artisan Hotel; Rumor; SASCO Properties; McAlister’s Collision Centers; Senor Jugos, a Latin juice concept and Siegel Slots & Suites, an innovative new concept to brand select hotel-casino properties acquired by The Siegel Group. Under Crandall’s leadership, Siegel Suites has continued a widely successful aggressive sales and marketing campaign targeting a variety of media outlets including billboards; Internet; radio spots; television commercials; print ads in all the largest publications and city, county, and community events, which has made it the most identifiable brand associated with multi-family housing within the Las Vegas market with a growing presence in Reno and Mesquite. In addition, he is instrumental in project managing The Siegel Group’s major renovations which includes a multi-million dollar renovation of The Gold Spike Hotel & Casino located adjacent to the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas and Rumor, formerly known as St. Tropez All-Suites Hotel. In Las Vegas, Crandall serves on the Board of Directors of the Neon Museum whose mission is to collect, preserve, study and exhibit neon signs and associated artifacts to inspire educational and cultural enrichment. He was also recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the Downtown Las Vegas Alliance whose mission is to create a vehicle for the advancement and progress of downtown Las Vegas. In California, he works with numerous organizations including Step Up On Second, a Santa Monica-based organization providing social services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and Padres Contra El Cancer, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit organization that brings together children, families, health care professionals and community leaders to promote a comprehensive understanding of childhood cancer and other blood disorders. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in International Business and Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University.
