Michele Tayengco, joined Pugsley. Simpson. Coulter. Architects in 1999 and is one of the firm’s leading project managers. She is a registered architect in Nevada. Tayengco recently completed the remodel of three Las Vegas Clark County libraries and is currently the project manager for the Clark County Development Services expansion and remodel. In addition, she has a background in historic preservation and has assisted the U.S. Forest Service Historic Architect in surveying a youth campground at Mt. Charleston. Tayengco enjoys learning and teaching and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and at the College of Southern Nevada. In the past, in addition to her passion for design, Tayengco indulged her interest in aviation, civic responsibility, learning and teaching through her work with the Civil Air Patrol. Today, Tayengco is a competitive fencer. She has finished successfully in local and regional tournaments and is classified as a Veteran Fencer. This summer, Tayengco looks forward to her participation in the Summer National Tournament in Atlanta. A resident of Las Vegas since the early 1970s, Tayengco earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Arizona State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Oregon.
