In 1995 Las Vegas natives Shawn Buckley and his partners Mark Rockwell and Paul Jaramillo recognized an emerging need for a landscape company that was focused on maintenance and set out to fill the void. Over the past 15 years it is clear to see that the partners filled it well and today the three men stand at the helm of Las Vegas’ largest locally owned and operated landscape company – Par 3 Landscape & Maintenance. Customer service is the cornerstone of the Par 3’s philosophy and Buckley’s commitment to that philosophy has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining the personal relationships with clients that help set Par 3 apart from the rest. Although Par 3 has certainly grown, Buckley’s involvement in everything from the day to day operations to ensuring the company maintains its family atmosphere is essential to its success. His belief in treating customers and employees well is evident in all that he does and has earned him the respect of his colleagues. Shortly after graduating from Bishop Gorman High School, he developed a passion for flying. That passion carried him through his graduation from UNLV to today where he flies as a Boeing 767/757 Captain for United Airlines. Despite his active business life, Buckley’s first priority is his family. He and his wife Brenda have three sons and can frequently be found on the soccer and baseball fields.
