Steven Lords has an extensive accounting/management background in the construction field and brings the knowledge and contacts to accommodate Martin-Harris Construction’s growth. Prior to joining MHC in 2004, he was operations controller for the South Central Operations Division of TYCO International-SimplexGrinnell in Housto. Lords notes, “I’ve enjoyed ‘downsizing’ from a multi-billion dollar company to a multi-million dollar company because it allows me to participate in the daily workings of the company and enjoy the more direct interfacing with the financial community.” As a member of the executive board at MHC he has brought his financial expertise to help guide present and future growth of the company. Lords is a member of CFMA (past national president), AICPA, NAIOP, AGC and he serves on the UNLV and CSN advisory boards, Boy Scout Council Committee and currently the chair for the Boy Scout Council Camping. He has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from BYU.
