Bank robbery suspect.
Metro Police are searching for a woman who robbed a bank in the area of Jones Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue on Tuesday.
The woman entered the bank and presented a note to the teller window, demanding money. The note threatened to harm customers if the teller didn't comply, police said.
Authorities said the woman took an undisclosed amount of money and fled eastbound toward Jones. Police weren't releasing the name of the bank.
The woman was described as white, 5-foot-4 and in her 30s with red hair. She was last seen wearing black clothing and large, dark sunglasses, while carrying a black Coach purse.
