You missed Diplo and 30 Seconds to Mars November 3 at the Joint, didn’t you? So did a lot of people, since the PlayStation Grand Turismo Awards gig during the SEMA Show was billed as a private event until one day prior. Diplo thanked the fans who did come out by passing bottles of champagne to them. Jared Leto then worked his damnedest to hype up the room as he and 3STM played as if they were performing in a sold-out arena. Bummed you weren’t there? 3STM returns New Year’s Eve at the Pearl. –DR
How much sexuality can you fit into one room? Over the weekend Crazy Horse III attempted to answer that question by hosting an AdultCon Porn Expo afterparty. The starlettes in the crowd wore pink bracelets on their wrists and light-up bunny ears on their platinum blonde hair. And the men? Well, the dancers had to work extra-hard to keep their attention. One dancer licked the dollar bills she was given … then stuck them to her breasts. When they fell off, she re-licked and re-stuck. Then the guys tipped her again. Persistence will get you everywhere. –Rick Lax
