Manufactured Superstars

Who wears short shorts? Manufactured Superstars wear short shorts.

Manufactured Superstars at Tao Confused as to why you didn’t get to see B-Rad and Sabotage (also known as Brad Roulier and Shawn Sabo from Beatport) open for Sander van Doorn last week? They weren’t actually there. But they’ve rescheduled for this week and should have their astronaut suits back from the cleaners in time for a high-energy, four-hour set. November 18, doors at 10 p.m., $10 and up, free for locals.

Bam Margera at Lavo We’re not sure what’ll happen when the Jackass star hits a Vegas nightclub. Will he shoot cocktail olives out his nose? Strip down and lounge around with the nearly nude models? Light something on fire? Charge the camera phone and don’t miss a night with potential to become the next YouTube sensation. November 20, doors at 11 p.m., $20 and up.

Flash at Blue Martini The new Sunday night event kicks off this week with sounds by resident DJ Purple and guests Steve Walker and DeMarco Cruz. Stop by for a whole lotta house ranging from deep to tech, minimal, progressive and even some reggae thrown in. First 100 attendees receive a free CD. Thanks-Spinning with DJ Jazzy Jeff If you’re still associating Jeff with the Fresh Prince, it’s time you take your ass to the Palms and check out the legendary DJ’s set.
