Shadow Ridge is back in the Northwest Division playoff race.

The Mustangs won their second straight and beat Cimarron-Memorial 20-13 to improve their record to 4-4 and 2-4 in the division.

“We’re trying to get back on track,” Shadow Ridge coach Gabe Gledhill said. “We’ve got two games left and we’ve been playing well.”

Nick McDearmon threw two touchdown passes to Zach Ducksworth. Braden Williams kicked two field goals as the Mustangs never trailed.

Cimarron fell to 3-5 on the season and 3-4 in divisional play. Both teams will need to win their remaining games and receive some help in order to slip into the playoffs.
