I read the article in Thursday’s Las Vegas Sun, “Why out-of-state companies reject us,” and was amused with the secondary headline, “Politicians pretend to know how to best draw them here.” The key word here being “pretend.”
If Nevadans want new companies to come to the Silver State, there is a very simple way to do so: Get government out of the way! Streamline the cumbersome process of establishing a business. We all know that the one thing government does well is make things complicated.
Make it easy to do business in Nevada and they will come.
