A 31-year-old Las Vegas man who was ejected when his sport utility vehicle overturned on Interstate 15 last month died Saturday from his injuries, the Nevada Highway Patrol said today.
Troopers said the single-vehicle accident occurred at 1 a.m. March 26 south of the Blue Diamond Road interchange on Interstate 15.
A black Cadillac Escalade, driven by Adam Jay Ahitow, was traveling south on the highway when the vehicle left the road and rolled, officials said.
The accident ejected Ahitow, who was taken to University Medical Center's trauma unit and died Saturday, troopers said. The investigation is ongoing.
