Sewer project to close lanes on Decatur Boulevard near Edna Avenue

Sewer project

A sewer project will again restrict traffic on Decatur Boulevard, the Clark County Water Reclamation District said.

Crews are working on a sewer rehabilitation project along Decatur Boulevard between Sirius Avenue/Palmyra Avenue and Edna Avenue. Work in the area began disrupting traffic in February, but more significant lane closures are now scheduled to begin Monday and continue for more than a week.

Officials said the both directions of Decatur Boulevard would be reduced to one lane in each direction between Sirius Avenue and Palmyra Avenue.

Palmyra Avenue and Sirius Avenue will also be partially closed, with all traffic diverted onto the north side of the street, officials said.

Crews will be working from 6 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.

Sewer service should not be interrupted for residents of the area, officials said.

For more information and traffic updates, motorists can call the reclamation district at 668-8668.
