Metro Police released surveillance video images today of a man authorities believe is behind a string of business robberies in Las Vegas and Tucson, Ariz.

The images released were from an armed robbery Feb. 26 at a business in the 9000 block of Flamingo Road.

Police said the man, armed with a gun, allegedly confronted an employee and demanded money from the cash register. The employee handed him an undisclosed amount of money, and he fled the business.

Investigators suspect the man, believed to be in his 50s or 60s, committed at least four other robberies in February and March — two in Las Vegas and two in Tucson, Ariz.

The man is about 5-feet-10-inches tall, 170 pounds and has gray hair and a beard, police said.

Anyone with information is being asked to call Metro's robbery section at (702) 828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com.
