Regarding the recent Washington Post story on “Made in America”:
I compliment Sen. Bernard Sanders, I-Vt., for bringing attention to the issue that our own government gift stores were stocked with souvenirs that have been made from other countries.
I agree they should only sell “Made in America” products. I think the worst thing was the American flags they were selling were also made in a foreign country; how unpatriotic is that?
It only shows today’s greed for money is more important than patriotism to the country that gives them their freedom. I hope Rep. Nick Rahall, D-W.V., is able to draft legislation to “Buy American” before our own government would try to print our U.S. currency in a foreign country to save money.
