Metro Police are investigating three bank robberies that occurred over the past two days, including one that happened Thursday afternoon.

In the most recent case, police released photos of a man who robbed a bank at 12:27 p.m. Thursday in the 2500 block of South Maryland Parkway.

Police said the man waited in line at the bank, which wasn't identified, until he was called to the teller window.

The man then passed a note to the teller demanding money. The teller complied and the man ran from the scene.

He was described as a bald, black man with brown eyes and in his early 30s. He was 5-feet-10-inches tall and 200 pounds with a medium and muscular build.

The robber was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt with a skull and crossbones graphic, black jeans and white tennis shoes.

Police were continuing to investigate two bank robberies that occurred Wednesday.

Officers responded about 2:55 p.m. after a man walked into a bank in the 3000 block of West Russell Road and sat at a teller’s desk and said he wanted to make a withdrawal. The man told the teller he didn't have an account and handed the teller a note demanding money, indicating he had a gun.

The teller complied and the man was last seen running southbound.

Police also are looking for a man who robbed a bank about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 6000 block of West Twain Avenue. The man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. He fled the scene, leaving the bank through the front door.

Anyone with information regarding any of the robberies is being asked to call Metro's Robbery Section at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
