Lanes of Ann Road to be closed nights for maintenance

Roadwork will close lanes on Ann Road in northwest Las Vegas at night for the next two months.

Ann Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Durango Drive and Centennial Center Boulevard, near U.S. 95, city officials said.

The restrictions will be in place weeknights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday.

Preventative maintenance is being done to extend the life of the busy road, officials said.

Motorists can use Tropical Parkway and Craig Road as alternate routes for east-west travel.

Las Vegas Paving is the contractor for the project, which is being funded by the city and the Regional Transportation Commission.
