Marcus Washington
The suspect involved in Sunday evening’s shooting on F Street has been identified as Marcus Washington.
Detectives on Wednesday served a search warrant at 300 Madison Ave., where Washington was taken into custody and booked without bail on a count of murder with a deadly weapon. His court hearing is scheduled for Friday morning.
North Las Vegas resident Robert James Hicks, 43, died from a gunshot wound to the neck.
Metro Police responded to a call at 4:44 p.m. at the Island Court Apartments, 1416 F St. Upon arriving, police found Hicks lying outside a fenced area surrounding the apartment complex.
A suspect, identified by witnesses to be Washington, was seen fleeing the scene.
