CARSON CITY – Gov. Brian Sandoval has named Egan Walker, currently a court master, to be a district judge in the family court in Washoe County.
Walker succeeds David Hardy, who was elected as a judge of general jurisdiction.
In his present job, Walker presides over child support enforcement calendars, dedicated adult guardianship calendars and the self-represented litigant.
He has been a deputy district attorney in Carson City and Washoe County.
