A 41-story smoke stack at the Mohave Generating Station in Laughlin is now just a pile of broken concrete.
Calm winds Friday allowed the implosion of the 500-foot structure. The stack kicked up a big plume of dust about a mile and a-half from the Laughlin casinos.
There's no damage reported and a spokesman for plant owner Southern California Edison tells The Associated Press the implosion went off as planned.
The stack implosion is part of the coal-fired power plant's decommissioning.
