Police say marijuana grow operation found in Summerlin home

A Las Vegas man was arrested on drug charges Thursday after Metro Police executed a search warrant at a Summerlin home.

The residence, which police described as a marijuana grow house, is in the 11000 block of Cerise Rose Avenue, near Summerlin Parkway and the 215 Beltway.

Kyle Smith, 26, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center in connection with two counts of possession of marijuana with intent to sell; obtaining gas/water/power with intent to avoid payment; and injury/destruction of property of another between $250 and $5,000.

Smith is being held on a combined $17,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear before a judge Tuesday morning.
