Police: Man assaulted woman in tunnel beneath U.S. 95

Metro Police are searching for a man who authorities say attacked a woman in a tunnel under U.S. 95 near Sky Point and Grand Teton Drive in the northwest valley.

Police said the woman was walking under the freeway between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on March 8. The man grabbed the woman from behind and tried to drag her into another tunnel, police said.

The man was described as white, 17 or 18 years old, 5-feet-10-inches tall and 170 to 200 pounds with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, a gray, hooded sweatshirt with red writing across the front and tan shorts.
