Metro Police arrested a Las Vegas man Monday accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl earlier this month at his apartment.

Robert D. Siow, 47, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center in connection with sexual assault of a victim younger than 14. Jail records indicate he is being held without bail.

According to an arrest report, Siow invited the girl, who was an acquaintance, to his apartment to watch television, then allegedly assaulted her.

Prior to disclosing the alleged assault, the girl told her mother that Siow had urinated in front of her while walking to a nearby park and showing her pictures of bikini-clad women on his cell phone, according to the arrest report.

At first, Siow denied the accusations, claiming the girl was trying to kiss him, but later, he allegedly admitted to the sexual contact during an interview with detectives, according to the arrest report. Siow told police he was drunk during the alleged incident, the report says.

His first court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
