UPDATED STORY: Dr. Feelbad? Vince Neil goes away mad at the Las Vegas Hilton

Metro Police said they are investigating a Thursday night "disturbance" at the Las Vegas Hilton involving Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil.

Police were called at 10:43 p.m. by hotel security. Neil had left the scene by the time officers arrived and police have launched an inquiry into the situation, police spokesman Bill Cassell said.

Authorities will determine whether criminal charges will be filed against Neil, who wasn't arrested. Cassell wouldn't elaborate Friday morning, citing the ongoing investigation.

Gossip website TMZ reported that Neil allegedly stormed into a Hal Sparks concert and screamed obscenities at his ex-girlfriend and her two friends. According to TMZ, the woman told police there was a physical altercation between Neil and the group.

Neil was arrested in June 2010 on charges of drunken driving. He served 10 days in the Clark County Detention Center last month.
