I see the U.S. Postal Service is about to lay off 7,500 workers. It also will shut down seven large centers and 2,000 post offices.
A simple question: Why does the Postal Service not raise the mail prices for the millions of pieces of junk mail we get every week? This would put millions of dollars in its pockets. Is this not what we normally call “common sense”?
