Henderson blaze causes $65,000 worth of damage

Henderson firefighters responded to a garage fire today near Pecos Road and Windmill Parkway that caused an estimated $65,000 in damage.

Fire crews were called to a two-story home on Pala Dura Drive around 3:14 p.m., fire officials said.

Occupants of the home were able to escape and alert authorities of the blaze, officials said.

No injuries were reported. The fire was ruled accidental, officials said.
