The United Nations recently convened the International Day Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of the Holocaust. Good. However, these same UN countries support Egypt's ruling Muslim Brotherhood. On their Internet web pages they support Holocaust deniers - have accused Jews of exploiting the Holocaust for political reasons and using Germany as a scapegoat, orchestrated by world Zionism. Yet, no western democracy has condemned this blatant religious intolerance and anti-Semitism.
The Dutch government rejects calls for an apology for the Netherlands' indifference during the Holocaust. How soon we forget: 100,000 Jews from there were brutally murdered during the Holocaust.
England's London School of Economics students have adopted Nazi-themed drinking songs. Here in America the Friends Seminary in New York has invited polemicist-author Gilad Atzmon, a self-hating, Israel-born Jew to speak here. This is the same Atzmon who in his insulting titled book, "The Wandering Who?" - says Auschwitz was not a "death camp" and "Hitler might have been right..." in exterminating Jews. Neither America nor other UN countries have
condemned this blatant anti-Jew, anti-Semitic and anti-Israel rabid, rambunctious rhetoric.
The truth is: International fortitude is lacking to take strong action against state-sponsored anti-Semitism - for instance, as Iran's. And, in Germany, the home of Adolf Hitler; a recent report admits anti-Semitism remains deeply embedded in German society. Worldwide, and even in America, there's silence and indifference when those targeted are Jews.
Let us never forget that our closest ally in the Mideast is Israel. And, that over 6 million Jews - children, women and men were brutally murdered by the collective German people and their collaborators. Therefore, rightfully so, in the heart of every Jew throughout the world and Israel is this apothegm: "Never Again!"
