The folks who write messages for greeting cards might want to start recruiting in Las Vegas. The Sun's readers have proven they can write, and some of them are pretty romantic.
More than 200 people sent Virtual Vegas Valentine's Day cards through the Las Vegas Sun's website. Some of them are funny, some are serious, and some might tug at your heartstrings.
Here are a few of our favorites:
Happy Valentine's Day to the man I would marry all over again, especially in Vegas. Love you always.
Rewind back in time ... Chapel of the Bells, 1986. Chapel of the Bells, renewed vows, 2003. I do believe that three's a charm. Newsflash! It's now 2012. How about it? Always and forever!
Wish this could be us. I love you forever.

Yes, I'd marry you all over again. And since the Star Trek Experience was closed down, I thought this was appropriate. Always and forever.
We don't need Elvis to officiate at our vow exchange. I will always love you because of who you are!
Happy Valentine's Day to the woman of my dreams! Looking so forward to making you my wife one day soon. Hopefully I can convince you to get married by Elvis one of these times we are in Vegas! Love you.
Just think ... this could have been us if we went to Pizza Hut instead of the Village Seafood Buffet back in '02. Happy Valentine's Day! Thanks for everything you do for me. Love ya!
Best day of my life was eight years ago when you became my wife. Love ya, happy anniversary and Valentine's Day.
Should we do it all again? Absolutely! This time, let's have a Vegas wedding! I wonder if they still do those pirate weddings at Treasure Island? If not, my vote is right there in front of the sign!
Do I really need to say anything my bestest burro?
Just two asses. That's what we are. Love you, dummy!
It's been 28 years since we last met. Our lives took a different path but brought us back together. So, from one stubborn to another, will you be my valentine?
Sometimes you're an ass, but then so am I. Love you anyway : )
Just because I'm an ass, it doesn't mean I don't love you! I love you more!!!
I know sometimes I can be an ass. But one thing I know for sure ... you're the best thing that ever happened to me! Happy Valentine's Day!
My One and Only,
You're so easy to love!

My love for you grows more every day that we share together. Many more years to go. I love you.
Hey dreamy, let's go romp and play in the hay all day!
For some weird reason this was a Las Vegas-themed Valentine's Day card. I would think it would be better if it was Tijuana. Tijuana misses you. Happy Valentine's. xoxo.
Two opposite halves make up one whole pain in my.
Baby ... I know we can both act like a couple of little jackasses sometimes, but we belong together ... same barn, same farm forever. I love you more than words can say, Jade. Happy Valentine's Day!
You are the one I was waiting for ‹ my perfect partner, my soul mate, my best friend, my rock and my angel. Marrying you was the best decision I have ever made. Happy Valentine's Day, gorgeous. Xoxo.
Happy Valentine's Day to my lovely Valentine. It is hard to think of Valentine's Day as a special day -- more like another special day. I love you.
I love you more than anything on this earth. I cherish every moment we have together, but it is always nice to know someone is thinking of you, and, babe, you are always on my mind. Happy V-day, babe.
Let's get away for a few hugs and kisses. Love you, bebe. Happy Valentine's Day!
I love you with all my heart and soul, and soon that will be us standing near the lake, gazing at the reflections on the water, knowing we will spend the rest of our lives together.
Every day feels as fresh as the day we met in '78. Thank you for being my very beautiful soulmate. All my love forever!
My love, I promise you we will have these moments! Thank you for being my partner in this adventure of ours! I love you.
I just want to wander through the rest of my life with you. Mountains, beaches and countries -- as long as you are with me, I am the luckiest man in the world. I love you! Happy Valentine's Day.
