7 treated for carbon monoxide poisoning

Four adults and three children are being treated for what is believed to be carbon monoxide poisoning, according to Clark County officials.

Clark County spokesman Dan Kulin said firefighters received a call at 9 a.m. Saturday for a home on the 6700 block of Wayburn Way near Tropicana Avenue and Rainbow Boulevard.

When they arrived, the seven people suffering non-life-threatening injuries caused by what they believe is carbon monoxide poisoning, Kulin said.

They were all transported to University Medical Center.

Kulin said the cause of the poisoning has not been determined, and the incident is under investigation.
