Bank robbery
Metro Police officials are searching for a white male suspect in his early-to-mid 30s for a bank robbery that occurred on June 30, near Sahara Avenue and Nellis Boulevard.
Officials said the man is heavy-set with thin arms, and stood at about 5-foot-5. Officials said the suspect walked into the bank, stopped at the counter pretending to fill out a deposit slip, but instead wrote a note demanding money from the teller.
The man then escaped with the money on foot, officials said. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, green checkered shirt, and a dark shirt underneath, officials said.
Officials urge anyone with information to call the Metro Police Department Robbery Section at 828-3591, or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 385-5555 or online at crimestoppersofnv.com.
