Early morning gunfire rattled residents at the Canyon View Apartments, but nobody was injured, Metro Police said.
The incident, in the 7400 block of Pirates Cove Road, near North Buffalo Drive and Summerlin Parkway, was reported shortly after 6:30 a.m., Metro Police Lt. Les Lane said.
A resident had reported hearing shots, police said.
Officers found bullet casings at the apartment complex and stopped a vehicle leaving the complex, detaining one male and two females for questioning, police said.
No arrests have been made. Police shut down North Buffalo Drive for a short time, but it has since been reopened.
The incident remains under investigation.
