Police release sketch to help identify, locate suspect in child sex crime

Metro Police on July 10, 2012, released this sketch of a man wanted for exposing himself to two children and touching one of them in June inside a central valley apartment.

Detectives are searching for a man who exposed himself to two children and touched one of them inside a central valley apartment, Metro Police officials said.

Police said the man, who used the name Deandre, lured the 6-year-old and 3-year-old into an apartment near Tropicana Avenue and Maryland Parkway on June 20 and attempted to sexually abuse them. The man fled when a parent confronted him.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-7 black male between 20 and 25 years old with a slender build.
