The National Weather Service has extended a flash flood watch through Saturday night, as rain and thunderstorms have rumbled into Southern Nevada.
Weather officials said Las Vegas could receive just under an inch of rain. Officials said rain would most likely occur in Las Vegas from 5 p.m. to midnight Friday.
Officials said to look out for flooding near streams and washes, gravel and dirt washing onto roads and debris and rapid flowing water in flood-control channels.
