Car crash
A man died after crashing his silver four-door sedan into a traffic signal pole at the intersection of Flamingo Road and Perry Street on Friday, Metro Police officials said. A female passenger was injured in the crash.
Officials said the man was making a left turn into a parking lot when he swerved off the road and into the pole around 9:45 p.m. Officials said the man and female passenger were transported to Sunrise Hospital.
The woman’s condition is unknown, officials said. All lanes at the intersection are currently closed, officials said.
Metro Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
