Two people were injured after flipping over in a 2002 Ford Mustang on Las Vegas Boulevard North around 3:10 a.m. on Saturday.

Metro Police officials said witnesses indicated that the 24-year-old Las Vegas woman driving the vehicle lost control of the car while heading south. The Mustang veered off toward the right and rolled over into the landscaping at 3855 Las Vegas Blvd. North, near North Lamb Boulevard.

The force ejected the driver from the vehicle and injured the 21-year-old male passenger, also from Las Vegas, officials said.

Both were transported to University Medical Center, officials said. The woman was admitted in critical condition, while the man is in serious condition.

Officials said the accident is still under investigation.
