Vice President Joe Biden is returning to Nevada to speak before a Disabled American Veterans national convention in Las Vegas.

Biden press aides said Thursday that Biden is scheduled to make an Aug. 4 address to attendees at the three-day convention at the Bally's Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.

The trip will be the second in a month for Biden to Nevada. The presidential battleground state has about 250,000 former military members.

Biden addressed Hispanic leaders July 10 at a National Council of La Raza conference in Las Vegas, and visited a nearby U.S. Vets Inc. training center.

Earlier this week, President Barack Obama and GOP presidential challenger Mitt Romney separately stumped for votes at a Veterans of Foreign Wars convention in Reno.
