Genghis Grill, a nationwide Mongolian stir-fry chain, opened its first valley location in Henderson this week at 550 N. Stephanie St., between Warm Springs and Sunset roads.

Brooke Chavez, a spokeswoman for the Dallas-based company, said Genghis Grill is the fastest-growing stir-fry chain in the country.

Known for its more than 80 fresh ingredients and “build-your-own-bowl” concept, Genghis Grill is open for lunch and dinner.

“We have over 15 different proteins, 32 different vegetables and sauces. … You can make one bowl or you can do unlimited bowls,” said Regan Noad, general manager for the Mongolian barbecue grill in Henderson.

“After you build your bowl, you walk to the grill and we have grill masters that take your order and grill the bowl for you.”

Along with a full bar, the restaurant offers a fire show at the grill every 30 minutes or upon request.

Lunch bowls are $8.99; for $2 more, guests can have unlimited bowls. Dinner bowls are $10.99 and are unlimited for an additional $3. Scallops and calamari are added on the dinner menu.

About 85 people have been hired at the Henderson location, and Chavez said the number of employees would rise to 100 by the end of March.

Genghis Grill is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
