Food vendors, DJs and clothing merchants will be on hand for the Vegas StrEATS Festival.

In the spirit of Vegas StrEATS and First Fridays, a new food and arts festival is coming to Las Vegas this spring, and this one is all about the grub: The first Las Vegas Foodie Fest will be hosted at Silverton Casino Lodge the weekend of April 28 and 29.
The two-day event will be held in Silverton's sprawling parking lot and will feature more than 40 gourmet food trucks, 15 food booths, a beer garden and a tequila party tent. Attendees also can partake in carnival rides, entertainment and other activities.
Silverton is hosting the festival in partnership with events and promotions company Red Dragon and Definitive Talent, with a portion of proceeds going to benefit Three Square food bank.
Foodie Fest will be held on Saturday, April 28, from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, April 29, from noon to 9 p.m. Entry is $5 per day if purchased in advance and $8 per day the day of the event. Admission is free for children ages 10 and under.
