Hit-and-run accident
An 11-year-old girl was struck by a hit-and-run driver Thursday night near Cheyenne Avenue and Interstate 15, North Las Vegas Police said.
She was crossing in the 1300 block of East Brooks Avenue just before 8:30 p.m., police said.
The girl was taken to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries, police said. No further details were immediately available.
