      Comedian Iliza Shlesinger, winner of season 6 of “Last Comic Standing,” headlines at Club Madrid at Sunset Station. Tickets are $22, and the show starts at 8 p.m.

      Her 'Strip, Strip, Hooray'

      Thursday-Saturday: Dita Von Teese at the House of Blues

      The queen of modern burlesque, Dita Von Teese, brings her "Burlesque: Strip Strip Hooray!" variety show to The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay. She'll bring with her MC Murray Hill with special guests Dirty Martini, Catherine D'Lish, Selene Luna, Lada of the Crazy Horse Paris, Monsieur Romeo and Perle Noire. Tickets are $50-$400, and the show begins at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

      Friday-Saturday: Lewis Black

      Lewis Black may be one of the angriest men in America. It's his anger with everything he perceives is wrong with the world that allows his audience to experience catharsis while laughing at what's going on around them. Catch his rants at the Terry Fator Theater at Mirage. Tickets are $59-$79 and the show starts at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

      Thursday-Sunday: Tivoli Days at Tivoli Village

      Celebrate Tivoli Days at Tivoli Village with a week of festivities. On Friday, from 5-9 p.m., enjoy a classic car show plus music from rockabilly band The Lucky Cheats. On Saturday, from 8 a.m.-1 p.m., get some tasty treats at Fresh 52 Farmer’s & Artisans Market. At 8:30 a.m., enjoy free community yoga compliments of DavidBartonGym on the main stage. From 8-11 p.m., enjoy salsa dancing on the main stage with the live salsa band Vol. 1. A cash bar will be available. On Sunday, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., grab a snack at the Food Truck Throwdown, featuring Tivoli restaurants and the Slidin’ Thru, Fukuburger, Haulin’ Balls, Chi-Town Hustler, & Tasty Bunz food trucks. You can also find a new friend with pet adoptions from Foreclosed Upon Pets.

    • Friday-Saturday: Phantom of the Opera at the Henderson Pavilion

      Experience the splendor of the classic story of Phantom of the Opera outdoors with a little theater under the stars at the Henderson Pavilion. Tickets are $10 and the show starts at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

      Saturday: Buddy Guy at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts

      Guitarist and singer Buddy Guy has become one of the biggest names in blues history. In his illustrious career, he’s won six Grammy Awards, been named the 13th greatest guitarist of all time by “Rolling Stone,” and been hailed as the king of Chicago blues. For this performance at The Smith Center, Guy will be joined by Quinn Sullivan, a 12-year-old blues phenomenon featured on “Oprah” and “The Ellen Degeneres Show.” Tickets are $26-$79, and the show begins at 8 p.m.

      Saturday: Ronald McDonald House fundraiser

      The Greater Las Vegas chapter of the Ronald McDonald House Charity presents the Runnin' for the House 5k Run and 1 mile walk. The event begins and ends at the Ronald McDonald House at 2323 Potosi St. Afterward, enjoy a free family festival with a pancake breakfast, music, interactive kids activities and tours of the Ronald McDonald House. The race begins at 7 a.m.; the entry fee is $20-$40.

      Saturday: Stryper at Santa Fe Station

      Christian glam metal band Stryper was the first faith-based rock band to gain mainstream acclaim with hits like "To Hell with the Devil," "Calling on You" and "Honestly." Catch them at Santa Fe's Chrome Showroom on Saturday. Tickets are $35, and the show starts at 8 p.m.

      Saturday:Project Dinner Table at the El Cortez

      Chef Philipp Norsetter of T-Bones Chophouse at the Red Rock Resort will helm the May feast for Project Dinner Table. The event will take place at the El Cortez in downtown Las Vegas. Project Dinner Table recognizes local charitable organizations with a donation at each of its events. Guests sit at a single 150-seat table and are treated to a lavish, family-style dinner, live music, presentations, gift bags and drinks. A percentage of the proceeds will benefit Child Focus and the Through the Eyes of a Child Foundation. Tickets are $140, and dinner begins at 6 p.m.

      Sunday: Billboard Music Awards at MGM Grand

      Carrie Underwood, Justin Bieber, LMFAO, The Wanted, Kelly Clarkson, Linkin Park, Nelly Furtado and Usher have been announced to perform at The 2012 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Tickets are $75 to $200, and the show starts at 5 p.m.
