Las Vegas Weekly’s Music Issue Party If you don’t have plans—hell, even if you do—head down to the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip on May 31 for this can’t-miss bash put together by, well, us. Vegas electro-pop duo Kid Meets Cougar will be onstage, with crazy candy for your eyes and ears. Vegas rock quartet Most Thieves will be onstage, previewing music from upcoming album Unnecessary Maps. And DJ Mikey Francis of Afghan Raiders fame will fill in the gaps (stay tuned for details on his new duo, Black Boots, in the coming weeks). There’s no cover; doors open at 7 p.m.; and Spicebox Whisky cocktails are free while supplies last. See ya there! RSVP at lasvegasweekly.com/music-party.
