The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the driver who died in a vehicle rollover Sunday night at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
Douglas L. Bounsall, 61, Las Vegas, died of multiple injuries sustained in the accident, the Coroner’s Office said.
About 6 p.m. Sunday, the National Park Service received a report of a crash on Northshore Road, officials said. Bounsall’s vehicle rolled three times after he tried to pass another vehicle in a no-passing zone.
Bounsall was pronounced dead on the scene and one passenger was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
