Metro Police violent crimes detectives arrested a 30-year-old man suspected in a case of attempted murder in Surprise, Ariz., on Thursday.
Darren Crockett, 30, was arrested around 4:15 p.m. at the 3000 block of South Decatur Boulevard near Desert Inn Road, Metro Police officials said. Crockett is suspected of shooting a victim multiple times in Surprise, officials said. He was booked at the Clark County Detention Center and is awaiting extradition.
The detectives were part of the Criminal Apprehension Team, a violent crimes task force comprising officers from Metro and Henderson Police as well as the FBI.
