A 19-year-old Utah man who was ejected from a vehicle Sunday morning on Interstate 15 northeast of Las Vegas has died.

Nathan Short of St. George was a passenger in a 2001 Hyundai that was traveling northbound about 7:30 a.m. when the driver lost of control, veered onto the right shoulder, rotating back across the northbound lanes, overturned at the center median and came to rest in a southbound lane, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at mile marker 69, just southwest of the Valley of Fire interchange on I-15.
