A fire early today at a boarded-up house in the 6500 block of Garden Sage Court caused an estimated $150,000 damage, the Clark County Fire Department reported.
No one was injured in the blaze, which was reported at 4:53 a.m. in the area of South Jones Boulevard and West Russell Road, fire officials said.
Firefighters found smoke and fire coming from a rear window, and the fire was burning in a second-story bedroom and running in a void under the floor, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Firefighters from Clark County and Las Vegas Fire and Rescue fought the blaze.
