The Baltimore Ravens have gone from NFL champions to the largest betting underdogs in Las Vegas.

The NFL schedule for next season was finalized Thursday and within 24 hours, the LVH was the first Nevada sports book to release odds.

The Ravens are 8.5-point underdogs against the host Denver Broncos Sept. 5 in the first game of the season. Baltimore, of course, used a late Hail Mary pass completion to defeat Denver 38-35 in last year’s playoffs on the way to the Super Bowl.

This is likely the first time the defending Super Bowl champs are the largest underdog in the first week of the upcoming season.

Lines in other games of note during the opening week include: the San Francisco 49ers laying 5.5 points against the visiting Green Bay Packers and the host Dallas Cowboys favored by 2.5 points against the New York Giants. Also, the Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5 against Tennessee) and the New England Patriots (-7 at the Buffalo Bills) as near-touchdown favorites.

Here are the complete odds for Week 1 with the home team listed second. Betting limits are $5,000 for sides, $1,000 on totals.
