The Las Vegas 51s closed an eight-game home stand Friday with a 10-5 victory against the Sacramento RiverCats, winning the final three games of the four-game Pacific Coast League series.

While the 51s were victorious, pitching ace Zack Wheeler was not. The top prospect walked six batters and surrendered four earned runs in lasting just 4 1/3 innings.

Eric Campbell scored three runs to pace the 51s, including a solo home run in the second inning. Reese Havens belted a solo home run in the seventh for Las Vegas, which used three-run innings in the third and sixth to pad its lead.

Andrew Brown continued his hot streak to open the season with a two-run double, giving him 14 RBI in 16 games.

Las Vegas (9-7) went 4-4 on the home stand. They open a four-game series Saturday at Colorado Springs.
