Updated Friday, April 26, 2013 | 12:41 p.m.

A motorcyclist was killed Friday morning in a crash at the Spaghetti Bowl, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.

The 64-year-old man crashed just after 10 a.m. on the ramp that takes motorists from Interstate 15 South onto U.S. 95 North, Trooper Jeremie Elliot said.

The motorcyclist, driving a 1998 Harley Davidson, was transported to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Elliot said. His name was not immediately released.

There were no other vehicles involved, and authorities have not determined what caused the crash.

The northbound U.S. 95 ramp was closed and traffic diverted to the southbound ramp after the accident, Elliot said. The ramp was reopened to traffic shortly after 12:30 p.m., NHP reported.
