Coroner ID’s victim in Sunday fatal stabbing

A woman killed in a Sunday stabbing has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Shanna Ralston, 44, of Las Vegas.

At about 12:10 a.m. Sunday, Metro Police received reports of a woman bleeding in the 6300 block of Greyhawk Avenue. She was stabbed during an altercation, police said.

Ralston was transported to University Medical Center, where she died from her wounds. The coroner’s office said she died of multiple stab wounds.

Police were searching for Nathan Benson, 27, for questioning.

Police describe Benson as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos depicting skulls on his upper right arm and the numbers “702” on his upper left arm, police said.
