A man died Monday from apparent gunshot wounds after he was found wounded in the 1000 block of Third Street, just north of Charleston Boulevard, Metro Police said.
Gunshots were reported about 12:50 p.m., and when officers arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one apparent gunshot wound, Metro Police Officer Laura Meltzer said.
The man was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died. Homicide detectives are investigating.
