Two injured in crash
A car collision this morning in Silverado Ranch sent at least one person to the hospital in critical condition, Metro Police report.
The accident happened around 8:37 a.m. near the intersection of Gilespie Street and Silverado Ranch Boulevard, just east of Las Vegas Boulevard South, Metro Officer Larry Hadfield said. Two people were injured in the collision and were transported to University Medical Center, with at least one of them in critical condition, he said.
The intersection was shut down until around 9:45 a.m., Hadfield said.
